Dan Gerstmyer has called Cape Coral home for most of his life. After moving to Cape Coral in 1971, Dan graduated from high school and joined the United States Navy in 1981, where he spent four years serving as a support technician with the UDT/SEAL teams.

Following his honorable discharge in 1985, Dan returned home to Cape Coral and began building his career in the local screen industry. After eight years working for a screen company and gaining hands-on experience in the trade, Dan decided to build something of his own. He founded Daniel’s Screen Services and became a state-certified contractor, establishing a company centered around quality workmanship, reliability, safety, and personal service.

More than 20 years later, those principles continue to define the company. Dan built Daniel’s Screen Services by developing relationships with homeowners throughout Cape Coral and Southwest Florida and earning their trust one project at a time.

Chris Clark represents the continued growth and next chapter of Daniel’s Screen Services.

Working alongside Dan and the Daniel’s Screen Services team, Chris helps carry forward the standards that have made the company a trusted name in the local community while helping expand its capabilities to meet the changing needs of Southwest Florida homeowners. The company has grown beyond traditional screen repair to provide homeowners with a broader range of solutions for improving and protecting their outdoor living spaces—all while maintaining the personal service and attention to detail of a locally owned business.

For Chris, continuing what Dan built means preserving the company's reputation while looking toward the future: providing dependable service, using quality materials, expanding what the company can offer, and building long-term relationships with customers throughout Southwest Florida.
